I have an IBM notebook and when I am done using it, it is set to go onto standby after 10 minutes, and turn off monitor never and go into hibernation never. It is also set to return to the welcome screen when it comes out of standby.

It used to be that I could wake it up by just moving the mouse, but lately i have to press the wakeup or power button to get the welcome screen back-just moving the mouse does not do it.

anyone know how to fix this? I have a feeling someone in my house was messing with the power options and screwed something up. thanks.
