I made a limited user acct and it wont let me run most of the programs from
there. How do I specify what programs and how do I get them on the limited
acct?

Use Windows Explorer and navigate to the program folder. Rightclick
it and click Sharing and Security. Make sure you are logged on as the
Administrator when doing this.

Hello,

I am the "administrator" account on my PC. I keep installing programs that neither my son or my wife (both limited accounts) can use. They are only accessable from my account.

I tried to use the file sharing/security setting technique that you described to allow access to the Programs folder on the main c: drive, but when I click on the properties for that folder, I only get the options for "General" and "Sharing" -- nothing for "Security". There seems to be no other way to allow the other accounts to run any programs.

My system run Windows XP Home Edition. Hope anyone can help.

Thanks,

David Sweet
