| I purchased a ati theater 550 pro in my pc from gateway. Hooking the vcr up to co axle in back will get me video but no sound. Also when trying to pull up video it restarts my pc frequently. Ati says the software is old technology and ati chip new technology. That I need a new program like adobe. Gateway after talking to ohh maybe 12 diffrent people says I need a cable that has the s video on one end and red ,yellow, white on the other end. Any body Help. I have been on the phone with tech support for two weeks now.By the way the tv tuner card that came advertised as a ati theater 550 pro is actually a tul 550 pro with an ati chip on it. Go Figure! Please note that if i hook the co axel up and go through windows media center i can capture sound and video. It sounds like a software issue to me but trying to convice gateway is another story. Im ready to ship the whole thing back and go with a diffrent company |
