I'm having problems sending attachments (small txt files) via Messenger.
Both systems are XP Pro sp2. The receiving system uses MSN Messenger 6.2.
The sending system uses Windows Messenger 4.7. Chat works fine. The
receiving system (probably) has the XP sp2 Windows firewall on at its default
settings. The sending system is behind a NAT router (Linksys WRT54G) but has
no real firewall running other than Norton a/v "internet worm protection."
Do I need to forward some ports in the router on the sending side? Does uPnP
need to be turned on on the sending side (right now, it is off)?

Greetings,

Yes UPnP should be engaged on the sending side.
