No audio device

I just bought a labtop from my buddy. It has no sound except the little beeps
that come from in the computer. I have no installation cd's that came with
it. It says I have no Audio device. Someone please help.

If you know the audio device, you can download the driver from the vendor's website. If you don't know the audio device type, try opening the computer and get some information about the audio chip. Nowadays, most audio chips are built into the mother board, normally you can know the audio chip according to the mother board.
