Hi
Can anyone help me please I have new wiindows xp udates to download,I have
tried various was to download them....automatic update will not download
them...any assistance would be appreciated

Sounds like Fred may have a similar problem to mine. I can update from the
Windows Update website, but within XP itself, Automatic Update is not doing
the job no matter how I set it up. When updates are present on according to
the Windows Update website, Automatic Update should have detected and either
notified me, or downloaded and notified me, or downloaded and installed
automatically. No action from XP Automatic Updates but Security Center etc
says it is all OK. Tony Copes
