I have a new mp3 player from SBC. I have a Dell 8400 Dimension. The USB
port in the front does not seem to be properly aligned. Am I doing something
wrong? Is there an USB extension I can use to accomodate the mp3? What!

Dell doesn't give much room for even a Travel Dsik to be inserted. Yes! go
to Staples and get an extension.

Deborah, your Dell Dimension is a desktop (floor maybe) model which
should have at least two maybe four 2.0 USB ports on the back. You
can get extension cords at Circuit City, Best Buy, Radio Shack or even
on eBay. Recommend you do not get an extension longer than 6 feet.
Some Dell monitors like the 1704fp and 1905fp have USB ports on the
bottom and side.
