Windows XP- Latest SP's
Camera- Mini JVC DV
Windows recognizes camera
Connecting via Firewire
Q: After Starting and Stopping Capture, I get a message that the video was
not captures correctly, and to check the configuration. Any suggestions?

Thanks Graham,

I went through both tutorials and still no luck. I also get the same result
using the capture software that came with the camera.
I turn on the camera- both MM and ImageMaker recognize it. The controls
work fine, but it doesn't actually capture.
I'm not sure what "configuration"- since it detects automatically.

The configuration is the settings you have chosen to capture the movie as,
so could be wmv, dv-avi etc. You have to make this choice somewhere.
So all the testing I suggest proves that the camcorder works on another
machine and another camcorder works on your machine etc etc???????
