If I inititially install MCE with 2 TV cards and then switch them to
different PCI slots would that cause a problem with MCE finding the TV
cards?

When I try TV setup MCE says no tv cards exist. Device manager shows 2 good
tv cards

ASUS A8N-SLI Motherboard, Nforce4 SLI chipset

Haippauge PVR-150MCE, PVR-250MCE

I have an audigy 2ZS sound card so I don't want to have to figure out where
the 3 cards belong originally

You may have accidently installed the regular Windows drivers for the two
cards instead of the MCE drives in which case MCE would not find the
cards. So I suggest that you get the latest MCE drivers from the Hauppauge
Website and install them
.
