| I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall MC 2005 on my Dell XPS 400, using the reinstallation DVD. But there are two problems now. One, there is no sound, even though Device Driver shows "audio codecs." In control panel, there are no options for adjusting the sound. Second, the computer won't recognize an attached ethernet cable, and Device Manager shows a yellow exclamation (no driver) for "ethernet controller," as well as for PCI Device, PCI Simple Communications Controller, SM Bus Controller, Unknown Device, and Video Controller (VGA Compatible). So I am unable to connect to my router and get online. Any help will be appreciated. |
