 HELP! I've installed and uninstalled the newest version of Webroot Spyware because once installed it makes my computer run very
S L O W L Y. Complained to company and they said it needs more RAM, go in and uncheck some start up programs.
Like an idiot, I did, and I Googled them to see what they were. No help; all I got was ads for more software. So the tech gave me a different site to find out what they are. I went through and unchecked lots of unnecessary items at start up (at least to me), rebooted my computer and it came up in the safe mode, telling me to change it back to regular mode, which automatically re-checked all the items on start up.
I'm about to chuck this whole thing but I do want protection. Anybody else have this problem? Or can somebody tell me what things can be unchecked without my computer going nuts?
I apologize if this topic has come up before....I looked but didn't see it.
