Saving a movie

I have spend some three weeks trying to save a movie I have created using
pictures and all Movie maker comes up with is there is not enough space to
save your movie( 60 gig remaining) or unable to locate the trace files make
sure they are available( on my desktop) or when trying to save to C.D unable
to locate C.D writer( no other programme has this problem). Please help as I
am pulling my hair out over this.
