We I try to start my PC it appears to start properly then after about 5 min I
receive and error saying that the NTOSKRNL.exe file is missing or corrupt. I
am unable to locate my XP disk or the boot disk. Can anyone help.

Recommend you first do a virus scan and a malware/spyware scan
before doing anything else.

I have this same problem and I run Adware after everylog off. I can't even
get to the dos prompt to run scan disk or defrag

I have the same problem, I can not even get into safe mode. Does your look
like this: <Windows root> \system 32\nt oskrnl.exe
I got this after downloading Google Earth. I can't get anywhere windows
will not start.
