Hello:

I hope that someone is able and willing to help me get going with my
Modem Blaster V.92 PCI, Model DI5631.

I am using an XP pro DELL XPS computer. I had the DI5631 card
installed and it was talking with the CPU; no conflicts shown in
Device Manager and results of testing (Query) the XP drivers went all
OK.

However, when attempting to send a FAX from the XP Wizzard or from
Word Perfect 12, the modem does not seem to dial out anything, e.g.,
no tones heard in telephone handset when sending a FAX document. I
don't think the modem is causing the telephone line to go Off Hook.

ALSO, can someone identify the correct orientation of the TAD
jack/plug ? I need to know which is pin 1 at the modem's TAD jack J6
so that the TAD plug is positioned correctly when mating with J6. Is
J6-pin 1 nearest to the top edge on the modem card ? I do see an
arrow head on each plug in the TAD cable, and believe that to be
identifying pin 1 (the WHITE wire) on the plugs.

I have UNinstalled the XP drivers and pulled the modem card out of the
computer, because I needed to identify the serial number and wanted to
connect up the supplied TAD cable. Having done that, and if no info
over the weekend, I will be forced to call the CREATIVE Support line
on Monday.

( I hope that the serial number is the long number that is on a label
on the modem PCB and also appears below the bar code label that is
attached to the anti-static envelope. )

For your help, thank you in advance.
