HI Everyone,

I need your help on my setup of Remote access to my work PC using remote
desktop from my home.

Work Office Setup

Let me give you the senario of how my work is setup. My work uses windows
2000 server with Service Pack 3 installed. My server is a domain controller
which has the active directory on this server. My work stations are running
WIndows XP Professional with no service pack installed. My DHCP server is my
Linksys router. My ISP service provider gave our company a static IP address.
I have entered static WAN IP Address into my router so we can have internet
access. The router also gives us our DHCP address so they I can access the
network drive to the server and other network resources. All the workstation
computer at the office has local static LAN DHCP address. The linksys wired
router has been configured to port fwd port 3389 to my work PC LAN DHCP
address. My work's workstation has remote desktop services on. There is no
firewall on. All the workstation in the office are logging on to my work's
domain.

Problem:
I can not access my work computer using remote desktop client on my windows
xp professional laptop at home. I would type in my work's static ip address
and it would say it could not connect. But if i were to use remote desktop
client on my collegues workstation in my office IT WOULD WORK. I STILL TYPED
MY STATIC WAN ADDRESS!!! TELL WHAT TO DO NOW.
