I upgraded to msn messenger version 7.5 yesterday and I can't get it to
work. When the sign in window appears I enter my user name and
password and then it says 'signing in' then the window just disappears.
If I go to click on the icon in the bar on the bottom of the screen the
icon disappears as soon as I move my cursor over it.

Its driving me crazy as I can't think what could be causing this. I
have tried setting up a new net pasword and the same thing happens.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this or does anyone have an
idea that might help?

Thanks

troubleshoot it and it says there's something wrong with my default gateway
and that it appears offline. i have dial up and i've been told that the
gateway is only applicable to broadband users...i dont know wat to do...its
ruined the running of other programs as well especially internet explorer and
