No Video |
|
|
I have recently installed Movie Maker 2.0, and I was going to try it out with
a video involving a few pictures, and some audio.
When I played it back, the preview window was empty, and the video will not
save, however the audio plays fine.
These arne't video files I'm trying to add - just pictures!
Does anyone know how to stop this? |

I assume you're not running Windows XP SP2? Sounds like there might be
something wrong with your MovieMaker installation. Installing Windows XP SP2
certainly might fix the problem.

Just because it plays in wmp does not mean it will work in movie maker.
Do you know what the file type is?
Virtually guaranteed to work are dv.avi and wmv files, other avi and mpeg
etc files often don't work.

her copy of XP with all the updates available, minus pointless ones, like
support for that Journal viewer. Is there any other possibilities? She
mentioned and I saw for myself that she could successfully plays videos
from Windows Media player, but not MM2.
