When i use Msngr 5.1 I am able to register to non LCS proxies and
exchange presence information, messages, as well as RTP streams. I
just installed MSOC and i cannot register to my cisco systems proxy.
Let me clarify, the REGISTER results in a 200 OK, but there is no SIP
traffic after that, and given a few more seconds, MSOC just gives up
and tells me "you have been signed out of communicator because that
service has been temporarily shut down". I am trying to connect over
TCP, and as i previously stated, have no problems doing this with msngr
5.1.

Is this a limitation of MSOC? is connection to the LCS for the first
logon (to retrieve and cache details, etc) mandatory? Has anyone tried
something similar to what im doing?

Please let me know.
