Playing a DVD freezes |

And another bug (MS should pay me for this):
When playing a DVD, it appears to be fine. The well known FBI-warning shows
up, an intro (like the one on Studio Ghibli movies) shows very nicely, but
then...
Then I get a black screen, and I can press buttons on the remote all I want,
but *nothing* happens. The CPU cooler spins up, suggesting the PC has gone
in an infinite loop. When I remove the DVD from the drive, MCE falls back to
it previous screen, like nothing had gone wrong at all.
I installed WinDVD 6 to act as a decoder for MCE. Hownever in WinDVD itself,
the DVD plays just fine...
The PC is a P4-2.8GHz, 512MB RAM, an ordinary LG DVD-ROM drive, which I
flashed with a region-free firmware (this one:
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=93). FYI, this is NOT
illegal (at least not in my country).
