I am having problems with the USB IR Receiver locking up. From time to time
I see the red LED on steady and MCE will not respond to the remote (or even
let me change channels using a mouse in the live TV control panel).

This problem happen both before and after upgrading to MCE 2005. I have an
HP Media Center PC.

The only way I have found to fix the problem is to reboot my PC.

Any ideas?
