music file problem |

I have my music files accessible through WMP Library, but when I go into
Media Center --> My Music, some of the files in a given album come up as
"Unknown Artist" while others come up appropriately (in the album with the
album art displayed). Questions:
1) Why would some files display differently in Media Center even though they
are all accessible in WMP LIbrary?
2)How can I fix this? I imagine there are certain details regarding
filenames that I need to closely examine, but I am not sure where to start.
My recollection is that this particular album had been downloaded from a P2P
network in the remote past and it may have been that the individual somgs
came from different sites at the time.
