I recently bought a new PC with XP SP2 installed and I'm still a newbie. I
currently have Norten Internet Security Trial and also Trend Micro Anti
Spyware Trial installed and now they're asking me to purchase them before
the time expires. I'm just wondering if these are the best ones out there
and if I should purchase them, or are there different ones that are better?
I'd appreciate any information that anyone has.

"PC Magazine" dated Oct 18, 2005 has a listing if Free Software that will do
just as good as what you have (and is trying to get in your pocket).
