lost admin password... |
|
|
About a year ago I put my PC into storage.
Now I have forgotten the admin password and can't install programs because I
don't have privilages.
additionally, i've tried to restart my PC in safe mode but it just freezes
at the startup.
Im open to suggestions on how to get my admin password back, i'm pretty
desperate...
anyone got any suggestions? (im open to hacking =P)

There is information on the following website that will help you to recover this password.
Lost, Forgotten, or Expired Passwords:

Hi,
Active@ Password Changer is the tool to use. It can easily reset lost
password. I've used it before, and it is awesome. Recommended!

You can disable the admin password on the motherboard if all else fails.
Check your motherboard for a jumper indicated by ususally "PW" printed beside
it. Change the jumper and that will disable your admin password. Good Luck.

This procedure only disables a BIOS password, not a Windows XP password.
