I lost the s/n for my windows edition |

I'v this genuine Win XP home edition version but I lost the serial Nn which
asked in the start of setting up the windows, So anybody knows any way to
get it back again. I tried to contact Microsoft but I failed. I've the part
No but I don't now how to use it.I'll be very thankful if helped in that
issue. By the way I got this version seperatly, I didn't got with a pc

Ok, if you will do the following your windows-xp number (15 digets )will
present itself.
right click on My Computer<drill down to properties<and there you will find
the number. Explore the other tabs, (system restore settings (I set my at
5% instead of 10%) to save space. good luck! d_may
