Why does my IE auto redirect to "http:\\\" when I access any |
|
|
It happened just two days ago and I have no any clue about why it happens. I
am using XP and IE 6. The problem is whatever website I access, it appears
for couple seconds (least then 5 seconds), then it automatically rediects to
"http:///", and then shows me error message "can't find the server".
Sometimes, the new error page keeps flashing, sometime not. Is this a virus?
Can anybody help me? Thanks a lot. |

While some symptoms may mirror a virus and are specific to a particular
virus, the only way you can tell for sure is if you make sure your antivirus
application is up to date and run a scan.
Also, what you describe might be caused by some malware on your system, go
to the following site, www.lavasoftusa.com and download, install and run Ad
Aware.
