I am already running MCE '05 on my PC. Full Nvidia system with the NVTV
tuner. The problem is I have no remote control. and then today I got ahold of
a GE model HO97685 USB remote. So far I have had very limited success with
setting it up. it comes with an app called Boom. Question posed is this. Is
this remote compatable with MCE '05 (it is with XP),and if so is there any
way to get it funcunal without using there Boom App? Thanks in advance to
anybody that replies.

Save yourself some grief & just buy the approved (& rather good) Microsoft
remote, IR receiver & IR bugs. It's under $40 from Newegg
