HI,

I lost my WIndows XP PRo disk. Can I get a replacement?

What happened was that my system was struck by multiple viruses. I took
the
system to a computer repair shop and gave them my XP Pro Cd. They put it on
top of my computer I grabbed the computer after it was repaired and put it
imn my car. I must have dropped it somewhere but I'm not sure where. I never
made a back-up. I have WIn XP Pro loaded on the system now but I don't think
I can back it up ... I also have my serial ID number (fortunately I did
something right).

AFAIK it's perfectly legitimate to find a friend with a copy & make a backup.
Your license is for use of the software not for the actual physical disk.
