Hi!

I've just got this LCD widescreen monitor by Dell. After installing I
wanted to tone down some of the brightness and gamma. I went into the
advanced settings of my Display properties, made the desired changes and when
clicking on Apply or Ok, the changes went back to their standart state.
I've tried changing the display settings using other user accounts and they
all worked. They accepted the change. So, it's not the LCD's driver or
anything like that.
Something is screwed with my account profile. Also, this problem is using
the admin account. All the other have restricted rights but all accept the
changes with no problems.

Any ideas of what I should try? I'm pretty sure that some registry kung-fu
has to be done but didn't want to attempt this without asking for advice
first.

Thanks in advance!!!
