Autoexec.nt error

when installing my printer driver i recieve this error immediatly after i
insert the CD: "c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not
suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications." have tried
downloading the software from the internet but recieve the same message.
any ideas?

Usualy happens when there is not a copy of the autoexec.nt file in the
system32 folder. Copy it from \windows\repair and try again.
