When playing a video over a wireless 802.11g (54Mbps) network, it stops
playing for a second or two, every 5-20 minutes. The videos are divx and
xvid movies, so when it resumes after a second, audio and video are out of
sync and video goes a bit faster to keep up with sound, for a few seconds.
Extremely annoying.

I don't believe the network is to blame. I can copy a movie at a much higher
speed than the speed needed to play it from the network in realtime, and
copying never gets stuck, as far as I can tell.

I guess MCE should read ahead when playing a movie, especially when playing
directly from a network.
