When is update for Media Center Extender for XBOX coming? |

When is update for Media Center Extender for XBOX coming that will allow
viewing of copy-protected material such as HBO, Showtime, etc... As we know
this update has been released for the other extenders but XBOX users still
can not view this material but simply receive the Restricted Content message. |

When it clears through the Xbox folks, Goody. This has been discussed in
several threads here. Take a little read-through the previous information.

I've done quite a bit of browsing and searching here but have not seen
anything indicating when an update for the XBOX would be released other than
a post about updates arriving by year end (2004). I see the Linksys and HP
updates have been released but still no XBOX. I saw a post saying the update
would probably be a download to the PC then get upload to the XBOX but no
date. I think these XBOX extenders are pretty useless if you can't use them
to watch live or recorderded premium channel content. If I had purchased
them locally they would have already been returned. Sorry about venting, but
I'm pretty frustrated.
