How do I disable updates nagware in sp2? |
|
|
Hi All,
I am running XP Pro, sp2.
I have a specific reason not to be doing Uncle
Bill's automatic updates. (I am deliberately
not going into my reasons; please do not waste
both our times trying to talk me out of it.
I am completely aware of the ramifications.)
Is there a way to turn off the "Your Automatic
Updates are Off" nagware every time I boot up?
Many thanks,
--Tony

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Security Center
and click on: "Change the way Security Center alerts me".
