user account passwords |
|
|
where is this information actually stored? my teen has done it! thought he
was smart and added a password to his account, and changed another user
account. see, unfortunately, we have to set family users up as
administrators in order to install or even play most of their games. this
leaves things sorta wide open. we have the XP Home with service pack 2.
so, how can I find out the password ... since he doesn't remember what he
entered... duh. is there any recourse other than deleting the account and
setting back up again, which means he loses homework files, etc.
thanks |

Anyone else who is an administrator can change the password from the Users
Accounts applet in the control panel
