Media Player Hotkeys when playing DVR-MS files

I record TV on my Media Center but then want to play them back on my laptop
or other PCs.

Whenever I playback DVR-MS files the keyboard shortcuts are disabled. I
would at least like the ability to fast forward and rewind. The ability to
skip forward and back would be even better!

Can someone please look into whether this can be added in future releases of
Media Player or the codec?

The following keyboard shortcuts work for me
while playing a DVR-MS file: in WMP10:

CTRL+P Pause/Play
CTRL+S Stop
F8 Mute
F10 Increase Volume
F9 Decrease Volume

MCE 2005 with NVIDIA DVD Decoder

I should have mentioned that those keys work.

Is there anyone that monitors this forum that can pass on a request to the
development team to add Fast Forward & Rewind hotkeys?

This is a Media Player limitation, which is not MCE-specific.
I think you'll find similar limitations if you tried to play an
MPEG-2 video. You can submit product feedback or feature
enhancment requests by following the links on this web page:
