I am getting an error when attemtoing to use DVR2WMV.
It says
"No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make connection." and the prog closes.

What does that mean?. I selected the Sonic decoders for audio and video.

Any Suggestions?

In technical speak, you need direct-show capable intermediate filters for MPEG-2 (audio and video) that supports file source as the starting filter. The Sonic decoders don't - they have their own file source filter which is used as the decoder as well.

Can you play back DVR-MS files in WMP on that computer? If not, you will need to use a decoder such as WinDVD or nvDVD (both of these work with DVR2WMV). Additionally, you could try the /forceNTSC (if you have NTSC video) in the command line or "Compatibility Mode" in the GUI app as it may fix your problem.
