I have XP Professional and it works fine, but I also would like to use the
Media Center Extender for my xbox and it will only work with Media Center
Edition. What kinds of complications will I have installing Media Center
Edition over the top of XP Professional? Will I loose wireless conectivity to
my laptop, what other issues will this cause?

I would recommend a clean install of MCE. Upgrading will cause many
headaches.

I didn't think you could install over XP Pro. I thought you HAD to clean
install it, or upgrade from a previous MCE, or dual boot.

I dont really know if you can or not, I just know that trying to upgrade a
MCE 2004 machine using the OEM disk leads to problems so if it was possible
to upgrade from pro it would probibly be a nightmare.
