Enabling overlay in MCE |
|
|
I know this question has been asked before. I couldn't find any answers.
My problem is that DVDs when played in MCE have high saturation. I'd like
to reduce the amount of saturation, but my video card (Nvidia Geforce4)
allows me to do so only for overlays. This works fine for Windows Media
Player, Windvd, etc., but not for MCE. I've read that MCE uses VMR9, but have
seen no suggestions on how to change that to overlay.
Is there such a setting? If not, is there anyone who's using WinDVD (or any
other DVD player) to play DVDs from within MCE...i.e. launching an external
DVD player just to play DVDs.
Thanks in advance,

Most if not all DVD decoder support saturation control without using overlay.
Check your MCE DVD decoder video setup pannel.
