Since Kodak Easyshare recently updated itself it's managing all my pics and I
can't even open the ones that come in an email attachment without first
saving and then opening!

I would prefer to use the Windows viewer which is much faster and more
convenient, can someone please explain how I can change these settings?
Thanks

Right click on one of your picture file.
A menu will open, click on Choose program at the bottom of the list.
A new list will open. Click on Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Then check
the box "Always..."

I don't seem to get the option 'always' I get 'open with easyshare' at the
top and then the other options. If I click on windows and Fax Viewer it just
opens it (the pic) in the viewer...One heck of a long way around!

If you don't get this option. Make the change this way.
Click on the folder to highlight it in blue.
Click on Tools on your top bar.
Click on Folder options.
A window will open. Click on tab File Type.
Scroll down the list of files to JPG to highlight it and click on the Change
button and select Windows Picture and Fax viewer. This should make the
change permanent.
