This Windows program is gaining instability as the image-file becomes
larger. I often watch TIFF or JPG files of over 20/30 MB, and the
viewer reacts very slow and tends to crash completely. Tip for
improvement?

An updated video driver? Slide the acceleration down, right-click the desktop,
properties, settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab
