I've started using NewSid from SysInternals instead of fighting with
fbreseal. Now I'm fighting with NewSid.

Here is what I'm doing.

I have a EWF protected CF. Create CF and all that stuff. Install all our
application SW. Some of these setup and use different security things, I'm
told. When the CF image is good, and all the application SW works
correctly, we commit EWF, set a flag in a file to "clone", and shutdown.
The CF is then duplicated. When a duplicated CF is booted, an auto login
occurs and does some stuff. It cleans things up, commits EWF and restarts,
cleans more stuff up, and then sees the flag in the file. So, it commits
EWF, sets the flag to "clone complete", and executes NewSid in quiet mode.
There is lots of activity and then NewSid restarts the system. When the
system restarts, there are lots of DCOM errors and program crashes because
of security errors.

Anyone have problems with NewSid?
Should I stop all my application programs (running as Windows Services)
before running NewSid?
Any ideas?

I'm going to dig in next week, but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas.
