I have an ewf managed configuration. Users can download files to
removable devices but they can also save to the desktop which should be
protected. The drive the desktop folder is on is not displayed.

Is there anyway to make the desktop read only? We are using a Minlogon
system so there isn't a current user.

Thanks,

John

JP,

Minlogon uses SYSTEM credentials for all operations.
If you have NTFS try reducing SYSTEM account permission on desktop folder.

There might be even a exproler related registry switch but I do not know it :-(

I'm missing some pieces in my image and can't right click to get the
security tab. Is there a command line way to do this?

Thanks

jp,

CACLS.exe.

If you would like to fix the Security tab issue in your image you can search google NG archive, there have been a lot of related
posts.
Although, you may not want to have a bunch of stuff in your Minlogon image.

jp,

Sorry, I forgot to mention. No component for this file exists in XPe Database.
But the utility is in XPe Repository. So either create your own component to include the file or use TD Extra Files or just copy it
manually.
