Audio Device Error Message

From last week when I tried to play any music I got the following error
message:
"No sound devices found. Please buy a soundcard first (or install proper
drivers if you think that you have one).
Error code: 2
Windows error message:
A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system"

Everything was working completely fine until recently.
Im not good with computers at all so I would be very grateful if anyone
could help me.

Do a Restore of your system to a day before "recently".
You'll be able to pick restore dates as far back as 90 days.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
