No MIDI Playback |

For some reason, my computer will not play MIDI sound anymore, regardless of
the program I'm playing it back with (e.g. WMP, Finale). I tried changing the
"MIDI music playback" default device (in the Sounds and Audio Devices in the
Control Panel), but it didn't work. In addition, this has happened before,
but it worked when I changed it to "B: SB Live! MIDI Synth". Now none of them
work. What can I do before calling my computer company?
The possible MIDI music playback default devices on my computer are:
B: SB Live! MIDI Synth
A: SB Live! MIDI Synth
SB Live! MIDI UAET
Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth |
