Hello,

I'm trying to install XPe Eval version on a single PC. I've gone through
dox online and can't seem to learn more about the error I'm receiving.

About 50% of the way through the DB Setup, I receive a dialog box... "Error
1308:Source file not found." It then gives a long path that ends with {<many
hex digits>}.CAB "Please make sure the file exists and you have access to
it."

Clicking Abort is obvious. Retry doens't do a thing and Ignore prompts for
3 more similar boxes (different hex) and then the install rolls back to undo
the changes the DB setup has done so far.

Can anyone please shed some light on this message for me?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

Have you downloaded the following files?

disk1.cab
disk2.cab
{022716D8-0CF0-4779-B94C-8E52EB36709C}.CAB
{347677C8-8935-4D30-8DDA-FB6D701ACF47}.CAB
{484C9D34-846E-40E2-A2E6-FF2771A303D5}.CAB

If not, you better get online again and download all of them.

KM,

Your response solved my problem.

I incorrectly assumed that the download manager would download all files
needed.

Thank you very much!

Mike
