Hi, I hope and trust this is the correct forum, if not I
apologize.

I am trying to upgrade my 2 GHz, 512 MB RAM computer from
XP SP1 to SP2. The installation seems to go OK, but after
re-boot, the OS will not start up. The hard drive spins
up but then goes dead. After re-setting to SP1 everything
is working.

Do I need to up-grade my BIOS?
My computer id 2 years old.

Kind regards,
Jesper

Hi Jesper,

This NG is for Windows XP Embedded. You should try asking this in microsoft.public.windowxp.general
