Deleting Title on a clip

I put a title on a clip and would like to remove it but cannot figure out how
to do it.
If I delete the picture (clip) it just goes onto the next clip. Help! There
must be a way to edit a title out.

In the timeline view of a project, there's a Title Overlay track... find the
text clip and delete it..

Zoom into the timeline if you have problems seeing it ---- PgUp and Down
buttons

Change to Timeline view and look for the title in the lower most track
called "Title Overlay". Select and delete.
