I have a Panasonic mini DV camera. We have created our movie in movie maker
with all the bells and whistles and we are unable to record it back to the
camera to then transfer it to VHS. Can someone please help? I have tried
several things. Like converting the movie to Mpeg, and all that stuff but the
movie comes up not recored. It looks like it is going through the recording
process bit nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, but with a SONY DV camera...My camera works fine on
other computers, and DELL says there is nothing wrong with computer & I can
capture video fine.
BUT when I try to print to tape, I just get a blue screen on the LCD of
the camcorder...the "record" light goes on, but nothing ever records. HELP!

By the way, Im using: SONYDCR-TRV340, a DELL Inspiron 2650 notebook w/ an
Adaptec firewire port for notebooks. I also tried using the two output
programs on PapaJohn's site, but those didnt seem to work either - still the
blue screen, & the red record light onscreen, but no picture or recording.
Please help, I've had this problem for like 6 months & need help! Thanks!

I am as well using firewire. My note Book is a Compaq 2195. When I used the
program Blaze MediaPro to convert the MVi to Mpeg in serveral diferent ways.
With and without SVG extensions with DVD extensions with mpeg2 I have treid
all of these and still the blue screen. The closest I came to getting it
recoreded was to be able to play it on the note Book on a cd. I am needing
to get it to VHS as the person the movie is for does not have a DVD or
computer. :(

TIA
