I have been trying to down load a video to edit and then send it to sonic to
make a dvd. I am having a problem with the video quality when I am burning
the dvd. What settings should I use to download and what settings should I
use when saving my moviemaker project to get the best quality?

Capture with firewire and save as DV-AVI. Then if edits
are made with MM, save movie as a DV-AVI file and import
into MyDVD.

Firewire is the only way to capture to maintain the
quality needed for DVD, regardless of the speed of USB 2.0.
