I get "Unspecified Error" when I click on moviemk.exe. I find the .exe file
in two places along with assorted other .dll, .chm and .inf files. A Movie
Maker file in the Programs Files folder and in several locations in Windows
folders.

I thought installing Sevice Pack 2 would solve the problem. It didn't. It
did install the 2.1 version, updating both the .exe files in Programs
Files>Movie Maker and in Windows>system32>dllcache - both files 3,472KB.

Does anyone have any suggestions about resolving this "Unspecified Error"
problem?

I have bought a new pc with version 1 pre-installed. It worked a while ago
but has suddenly come up with "Unspecified error". Neither windows update nor
SP2 recognises it has gone so I am unable to get another copy. Does anyone
know of another peice of sofware that does the trick? Or do you know of a
download site where Windows Movie maker is avalible?

Please write back!
