Error re-installing XP on HP XW6000

I came across an lsass.exe error on boot (password) so found out how to
use the XP Recovery Tool to replace lsass.exe

However on using the XP startup disk I am told it cannot find a hard
drive

I am using one internal Seagate Cheattah SCSO running on the adaptec
ultra 320 scis.

So i made a disk with the adaptec drivers and then when XP prompted me
hit f6 and inserted the floppy so it could install drivers.

No luck it just looped through the 'please insert disk' and then
'please wait' process.

Any ideas?

You probably also need drivers for the Seagate SCSI drive on the disk too.
